Released in October 1966 on Pye Records, this landmark record marked Ray Davies’ emergence as one of Britain’s sharpest social commentators and satirical lyricists, featuring classic anthems such as “Sunny Afternoon”, “Dandy”, “Rosy Won’t You Please Come Home”, and “Party Line”.
