The lid features an exquisite, hand-painted winter alpine scene capturing skiers gliding down snowy slopes against snow-capped peaks and alpine chalets beneath a warm glowing sunset sky, framed by an elegant royal cobalt blue enamel border. The circumference depicts a continuous panoramic winter resort vista complete with dog-sledding, evergreen pines, and alpine lodges. The inner lid is inscribed with “A World of Choice / Whistler / 2003”.
